the blogside covers my artistic practice within the textile media and poses a forum for my work and research of the project Poetic Realism. I experiment with different electronic media and combine it with textile and fiber, to embed sound and light into the textile medium. This online platform visualizes my world of inspiration, materials and fibers.

Poetic Realism

… is a research project with the aim to construct textile structures // interactive interfaces, that can be placed in the connection zone // Architecture, of the embodied mind // Body, with the built environment // Public Sphere. To create a moment that people can experience with their whole bodies, because virtual worlds cannot replace the need for sensual perceptions // Quote: Pipilotto Rist. A moment of interaction that acts as a response to the sensual perception of the body. Or to say it in the words of Hans Haacke  …make something that cannot “perform” without the assistance of its environment … .
